Cheap Single Pushchairs
If you're looking to save money and don't need a stroller that doubles into car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.
It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. Additionally, it's easy to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and fold-down that fits into aeroplane overhead luggage. This latest version features independent suspension on all 4 wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all terrains and types'.
The YOYO2 frame base, curved fabric bassinet and 6+ month color pack combine to make a stylish and elegant pushchair that is easy to look at with a subtle yet elegant design and a tasteful branding. The base frame alone weighs just over a kilogram and is so light you can easily lift it out of the box (and do so one-handed).
The hood, for instance is able to snap onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring way. It's also machine washable at 30 degrees, which helps to prevent staining caused by smushed and mashed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram starting from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller after 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller. It transforms from a stroller to wagon by simply flipping the handle, which means parents can pick which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months to 5 years, and it comes with a large storage basket to accommodate everything you need on the go.
The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as large or deep as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for longer excursions or for napping.
The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competitors, and it does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents seeking a second stroller that is affordable. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other key features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.
In our test of the push and turn, it did better than most of the other cheap strollers we test, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades it has were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.
The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential for double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to carry babies from birth to around 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a carrycot and seat with a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.
The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle every day bumps and doors easily.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can swivel. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along a stony path. It was able to handle this well, although it seemed to be a bit bumpier.
5. single hand fold stroller is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to fold and fits easily into the car's boot even with a carrycot attached.
It is heavier than the other strollers we've test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.
Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.
It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have an ample basket that is deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of food. You can also pair it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's a frame made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's initial days and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, like the capacity of the seat to be turned between the parent and the world as well as a large UPF50+ canopy, a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.
The chassis is equipped with a suspension system built-in that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was easy to push and our test driver was able to maneuver the vehicle through tight streets.
It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It also stands and can be rolled around for easier transportation in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also offered with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes come with only one action and are colour coded. They also work with flip-flops.
7. Babyzen Duet
This single pushchair that is budget-friendly is extremely easy to use and features excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also extremely light and robust. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It has a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.
The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't ideal - it's not as silent as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.
The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be set up to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be set so that they face each one. They can also be positioned towards the parents. This can help to lessen sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also comes with an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents who love to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. It also has great safety features, including a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety straps. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models, which is a twist.
The seat is well-padded and has a wide area to sit, but the depth of the seat is lower than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as it comes, but you can use it from day one by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and is available in multiple languages.
